Cash is King 2

I’m proud to be part of the Cash is King 2 book and exhibition.

The storming success of last summer’s  Cash is King - The Art of Defaced Banknotes book, which was launched at The Saatchi Gallery with a sell out exhibiton of framed and affordable money art from all over the world has led to a massive demand for Cash is King 2.

Cash is King 2 will follow the format of the first book with 172 pages of colour illustrations in hardback with a dustjacket  ripe for defacing and fascinating texts by academics and the artists themselves.

The Saatchi Gallery will be hosting an exhibition and book launch of our Cash is King 2 - The Art of Defaced Banknotes project this August/September at:

The Saatchi Gallery
Duke of York's HQ
Kings Road
Chelsea London

The Cash is King 2 book is being published by The St Ives Printing and Publishing Company in Cornwall and will be a high quality hardback book with a limited edition of 1000. You can pre-order your copy now via https://www.rebelnottaken.com/product-page/cash-is-king-2-book.

I’ll participate in a group exhibition titled Epeolatry focusing on unique ways that artists merge literary works into their respective mediums. Each artist uses a physical book (in part or fully) and incorporates that into their final piece.

I made a portrait of Alex, the main character from the novel A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. I made a background build from paper sourced in the streets mixed with an actual A Clockwork Orange novel from the 70’s.

Opening Reception:
Date moved to December 7th 2018
